Plant life responds, as humans do, to underground sources of energy. The
difference is, we seem to think it's really odd when a tree grows crooked,
but not when a person (or persons) reacts to a "good vibe" or "bad vibe."
The main cause of unusual plant growth is underground water lines, which are
said to be veins of water which run underground (the kind that serve as the
source of wells and such). When a tree grows over one such vein of water, it
will lean so that as much of its mass is over the vein as possible, as this
tree in the Santa Rosa Rural Cemetary (above left) is doing.
In other cases, a tree may be growing over where two such veins of water
meet, causing energy to spiral up from the earth's crust. You can see the
actual spiral in the growth of the tree, as with this apple tree in an
orchard on the corner of Hurlbut and East Hurlbut Roads in Sebastopol (above
right).
