This collection of Dire Straits gems more than updates their 1988 best-of, "Money for Nothing." Although it does include newer hits like "On Every Street" and a live "Your Latest Trick," the album also features lesser-known tunes like "Lady Writer" and singles omitted from "Money" like "So Far Away." "Sultans" closes with a live version of Mark Knopfler's "Local Hero/Wild Theme" from his soundtrack work -- a testament, like the whole collection, of his power and range as a guitarist.
